The
HYDRA-CLIP weighs in at 1550 lbs and is 76 inches wide. See our
How to size your machine page for size concerns. It is designed
to clip a 16-inch tree in one cut. It has massive 4-inch main hinge
pins for longer life than any other shear comparable to its size on
the market today. The grease relief technology machined into the
pins insures maximum coverage of the grease for even longer life.
The angles in which the cylinders meet the jaws are dynamically
engineered to distribute the maximum amount of power to the cutting
edges. |

The
first truly flush to the ground cutting shear with flush mounted
bolts on the bottoms of the blades. |
|
Another
truly innovative design is the internal chemical tanks with a
capacity of 12.6 gallons. Hydraulic hoses routed inside machine
through special tubes to provide extra hose protection. |

Extra
strong mounting plates with viewing window for full sight at cutting
edges. |

The
shear comes with 5-inch hydraulic cylinders with 3-inch shafts. The
full frame wrap around design is able to transfer the maximum amount
of energy from the pump in the skid loader to the cutting edges. The
jaws are 3 inch solid steel for maximum strength. The blades have
extended tips to reach into the ground or into the side of a tree
for even a larger capacity of cut. |
